In any complaint filed with the commission alleging a violation of subsection (h) of this Code section and requesting an investigation of an elected or appointed district attorney or solicitor-general, the complainant shall be required to file with the commission a sworn affidavit detailing the personal knowledge of the facts supporting the complaint, including any interest the complainant may have in the outcome of the case. The complainant may attach documents to support the complaint. Nothing in this Code section shall be construed to limit the ability of the commission to bring a complaint pursuant to this Code section on its own motion.(Required)
